We design and build edible gardens including planting fruit trees to suit your spaces and circumstances.
We apply organic gardening principles in the design process and provide practical solutions.
We can design and build a native habitat garden in your spaces to be resilient and low maintenance over time. Habitat gardens can contribute to the balancing of the ecology and conservation.
We do gardening workshops with early childhood, primary years, high school and community groups. Learning about everything from organic gardening principles, soil preparation, garden set up, pest management, maintenance, composting and seed saving.
Our latest landscaping job including wildlife habitat gardens, edible gardens and crushed rock pathways for accessibility. This space used to be a grassy lawn with rubbish around. The client wanted to create a beautiful landscaped garden for the community members.
" It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the 'Edible Garden Guys' - Jay and Ollie
They built our garden boxes from scratch - which was a great process for the children at school to observe ( from a safe distance).
Jay collaborated with our sustainability leaders (staff and students) in the selection and planting of our garden produce, and from the get-go worked together with us to ensure a healthy harvest.
His ability to liaise with the sustainability group and include them in the project enabled a sense of ownership for the children, and his cheerful disposition made for a fun project.
Jay is professional, reliable, friendly and polite. His personal touch and his dedication to the project was brilliant. Despite completing the required work, he continues to care for our garden, paying visits to tend to the veggies and ensure our crop is growing and flourishing.
I am extremely impressed with the services provided by Jay and would recommend the Edible Garden Guys for any gardening project - especially for schools!! "

" Jay made three garden beds for us, with his friend, and planted veggies and herbs in it.
He gives attention to the details - which plants go with what and the flowers to attract pollinators etc. He is very eco-friendly.
We already had the first harvest, which the residents enjoyed seeing it growing and having fresh veggies from the garden.
We are very grateful for what he is doing for us with a lot of attention and interest."

I cannot recommend Edible Garden Guys enough. Jay was great to work with and he took the time to talk through what I wanted and discuss options. He was quick to do the work and was flexible as needed.
I love my new veggie beds and with the soil included I was able to plant them out immediately! My cauliflower has been spectacular this year and my silverbeet, broad beans and spring onions are brilliant! I can't wait for summer planting! My garden has been completely transformed and I couldn't be happier- thanks Edible Garden Guys!

I was very happy with Jay's service as he transformed and rejuvenated my little backyard in Flemington. I contacted him last minute but he was prompt to respond and was very flexible in fitting in this project into his schedule so that I could meet the timeline. It was quite a shady area, and I wanted to put in as many native plants as possible to create a habitat for local insects. He was open to take on my ideas and we worked together to finalise plant selection. It was a joy working with him as he also fixed up my broken irrigation system and installed a water feature as requested. He was reliable and communicative throughout. I would definitely use his service again! Thank you, Jay.
